We’re the crew that shows up when your garage door won’t close at 10 p.m. or when you’re staring at a snapped torsion spring before work. Every technician on our Bothell team is background-checked, uniformed, and trained to the same standard - but we’re not interchangeable. We live in different neighborhoods, came to this trade from different paths, and each have our own stubborn problems we’ve learned to solve. Marcus Deller, Owner
I started Servo Garage Doors in Bothell back in 2015 after ten years of watching customers get burned by vague phone estimates and invoices that somehow grew between the quote and the final bill. That experience became Clause 1 of The Haven Standard - a flat, written price and written scope before any tool comes out of the truck. I still run calls when we’re stacked up, mostly on torsion spring replacements and opener logic board diagnostics in the older homes around North Creek and Canyon Park. I keep a stubborn 1989 Craftsman belt-drive in my own garage as a reminder that some machines just need the right technician to outlast three replacements. You’ll see my license number on every estimate we send out, not buried in fine print.

James handles the calls that make other techs scratch their heads - the intermittent limit switch failures, the trolley carriages that chatter only on Tuesdays, the Wayne Dalton TorqueMaster conversions that require fishing cable drums out of a tube most techs have never opened. He’s been at this fourteen years, holds certification from the International Door Association, and has a particular patience for the cedar-sided homes in Finn Hill where settling foundations throw off door alignment seasonally. He grew up in Kirkland, lives in Bothell now, and has a maddening memory for addresses he’s dispatched to before. Tomas B., Apprentice Technician
Tomas joined us in 2023 after a career in commercial HVAC, bringing a useful habit of talking through his diagnostic process out loud so customers understand what he’s seeing. He’s currently certified for cable and roller replacement, safety sensor alignment, and Chamberlain and Genie opener installs, working toward his full torsion spring certification under James’s supervision. His first solo call was a broken cable drum in a Bothell Heights garage where the previous homeowner had installed the wrong drum size for the door height - he spotted it in thirty seconds, explained the mismatch to the customer, and had the right part on his truck. He lives in Mill Creek with two dogs who do not respect garage door boundaries.
